Stellar IPL is a form of photorejuvenation therapy for the skin that helps to reduce the appearance of age spots, melasma and freckles (among other concerns). It delivers controlled pulses of light energy deep into the skin through a single handpiece that moves gently over the skin’s surface. When treating pigmentation at our Hampshire clinic, the light emitted from the laser is absorbed by the melanin in the pigmented cells (which is darker), which turns to heat and breaks them down.
